Days 1
Arrive Paro by Druk Air and transfer to Kichu Resort which is 10 Km from Airport. If time permit s/seeing
Days 2
Paro - sightseeing of Drukgyal Dzong the ruined fort, which once defended this valley from the Tibetan invasions. Drive back to Satsam chorten (10 min drive) and begin walk up or with horses to Taktsang view 800mts above the Paro valley. After lunch visit the Ta Dzong(national museum). Over night in Paro Kichu Resort.
Days 3
Early drive Paro - Thimphu (60 k.m, 2 hrs). On arrival after refreshments commence sightseeing, visit the memorial chorten, Tashicho Dzong, National Library, Handicraft emporium, painting school. In the evening visit the Thimphu town. Overnight in Hotel River View.
Days 4
Morning S/seeing of Thimphu. After lunch drive to Wangdiphodrang(70 k.m, 3 hrs), via Dochula pass (3050 meters). The road is all down hill and you will notice the change in vegetation. Check into Kichu Resort, Wangdue.
Days 5
Drive to Punakha and s/seeing of Punakha valley includingPunakha Dzong and Wangdiphodrang Dzong. O/n in Kichu Wangdi Resort.
Days 6
Day excursion to Gangtay village and s/seeing of monastery and valley. Gangtay valley is one of the most beautiful spot in Bhutan. The surprise of finding such a wide, flat valley without trees is extremely rare experience. It is also home to rare black necked cranes who migrate from the central Asiatic Plateau to escape the harsh winter. O/n in Wangdi Kichu Resort
Days 7
Morning drive back to Thimphu for Lunch. After lunch free time for shopping if need be. In the evening drive back to Paro and check into Kichu Resort.
Days 8
Transfer to Airport for departure to Kathmandu.
