Hawaii is known as 'the Big Island' to distinguish it from the state of Hawaii. As its name suggests, it is the largest of Hawaii's Islands - and is renowned for ts production of beautiful exotic flowers, especially orchids. Relaxing costal drives provide magnificient views of the shoreline and the valleys inland. A trip to the Volcanoes National Park is also suggested.
